Determining the fire origin is the first step in any fire investigation. After that, determining the cause of the fire can be complicated and involve more than just finding a “defective” product or arson. The expert must be able to identify the codes which apply to the fire loss and interpret the codes. This course will provide you with an overview of various codes and hands-on examples of fire losses and the role codes can play in the outcome of the loss. This course is approved for three CEU hours.
