- Reviewing building plans for compliance with fire and life safety codes and standards.
- Reviewing plans for flammable and combustible liquid storage facilities.
- Inspecting buildings and facilities for code and standard compliance.
- Reviewing mechanical & fire protection plans
- Drove a propane delivery truck for Shumpert Oil in Pelion, SC during college. Also was responsible for and managed employees who filled propane cylinders.
- Designed refrigeration equipment (chillers) at Artichill, Inc., which ranged from 20-ton to 280-ton chillers.
- At The Warren Group, has utilized previous experience to investigate fires, explosions and life safety issues in structures, machinery and equipment.
- Investigated the origin, cause, and spread of over 250 fires and explosions ranging from small household appliance fires to a $150 million dollar fire loss.
- Developed and teaches a course on NFPA 921 to insurance adjusters, which is approved by the North Carolina Department of Insurance for continuing education.
