Our engineers and reconstructionists evaluate complex vehicle dynamics like acceleration/deceleration, critical speed yaw analysis, time-distance analysis, projectile motion and vault speed analysis, friction, weight shifting, and reaction times to determine time/distance relationships for colliding vehicles. They inspect and evaluate vehicle components such as steering, suspensions and frames, configuration and operation of brake systems, wheels, rims and tires, and trailer coupling devices for fifth wheels. They also analyze truck rollover events involving turn radius, center of gravity, suspension characteristics and load shifting.
