Parts fail when vehicles crash. Sometimes parts fail and cause or contribute to a crash. The Warren Group engineers and reconstructionists can evaluate broken parts to determine why and when they failed. Vehicles endure many dynamic forces on the road such as going over pot holes, sudden veering, or sudden braking. Our engineers and reconstructionists have access to state-of-the-art tools, such as the Scanning Electron Microscope at the University of South Carolina. They can evaluate parts to see if they failed because of stresses they were subjected to on or off the road or if they failed because they were not manufactured correctly or made of inferior materials.
